2008 Toyota Tundra
The Toyota Tundra went head to head with Ford’s F-150, Chevrolet’s Silverado, and Dodge’s Ram full sized trucks. The Tundra took on the traditionally American-made pickup truck market—and won.
This is the second time the Toyota Tundra has won the truck of the year. It first won when it debuted in 2000. Only the Chevy Silverado and the Ford F-150 have won twice since the awards inception in 1979.
